Biography:
The Second Doctor, portrayed by Patrick Troughton, is a fictional character in the British science fiction television series Doctor Who. He first appeared at the conclusion of the serial The Tenth Planet in 1966, marking the first on-screen regeneration of the Doctor.
Troughton's Doctor presented a stark contrast to his predecessor. While the First Doctor was often portrayed as a stern and grandfatherly figure, the Second Doctor adopted a more whimsical and Chaplinesque persona. He frequently played the fool, seemingly bumbling and inept, but beneath this facade lay a brilliant and strategic mind.
